I started working with Justin 4 weeks out from a competition I was doing in Toronto. I had been making some good progress on my own applying what I had read from fitness magazines and related internet sites, but needed something more to get me over the edge.

 

I signed up with Justin and Impact Nutrition and quickly found out that was just the boost I needed. By listening to Justin and following his competition diet program 100% I was able to lean out even more than I thought I could, getting down to below 6% body fat and stage ready placing 3rd in my division.

It was about six months out from my bodybuilding competition when I decided I wanted to compete. I had been working out since a young age, but never really gave nutrition the credit it should have gotten. Justin got me on a 3 month bulk (weight-gain) plan. I now understand that the most efficient way to gain muscle is that you must be in a caloric surplus ( meaning my expenditure had to be less than my intake). After the three months was over I had gained roughly 20lbs of which there was a considerable amount of lean muscle!

Justin then made my 12 week contest prep, which consisted of a much cleaner macronutrient distribution and a progressive cardio plan. He made changes to my diet as necessary based upon how my progress was going.

Before I started a program with Justin I was pretty regular at the gym and had come a long ways on my own. However I was starting to become discouraged since over the last few years I wasn’t seeing anymore progress. It seemed like no matter how hard I worked or how closely I watched my diet that nothing was changing. I was wanting to see better results, but was lost as to how get there. There is a lot of bunk out there, people and companies claiming they know the “secret.” I knew I had to do something different but didn’t know what.

I was recommended to Justin through a mutal friend that he had been helping with his diet and work out routine. Since I wanted to play a higher level of Lacrosse than my ability would have allowed me, I decided I should be in the best shape I possibly could when I got to camp. Talking with Justin I knew right away he knew what he was talking about and I trusted his word and he never let me down. He set me up with a couple different work out routines since I only had a little under 3 months to get ready before camp started.

I have never been to the gym before so Justin came with me and showed me the proper way to do all the workouts, and even checked up on me to see how I was doing and came to the gym with me, and always gave me good advice! I got stronger than I have ever been and have asked him to help me again in the offseason to build even more to help elevate my game. Without Justin's help I would not have become the player I am now.
